Bathrooms have a personality of their own. They signify the character of their owner but more importantly they are the best of places to spend quality time. In most restaurants they are called as washrooms and hence people more than wash their hands and feet there. In most railway stations they work partly as waiting lounges and inside trains they are a place for accommodation. But its in schools & colleges that their true colour emerges. Students display their artwork. Here you’ll find modern art as well as literature running alongside eachother. Students smoke their first fumes, bunk their first lectures and settle several other scores. The place is so radical that most modern day headmasters wouldn’t install a camera in a men’s bathroom. Most men work in perfect harmony, co-ordination inside a bathroom. Lot of them would comb their hair, gel it, shine their shoes, adjust their clothes……in an unsettling camaderie of people coming in & going out. Actually, it is the very place where brotherhood, peace is practiced and further I believe that all of mankind’s famous and not so famous plots have been devised in here. Although a corporate bathroom is an altogether different juggernaut, in essence, it’s the same. Corporate bathrooms will have people mostly ranting about their jobs, their salaries and their work. I’m always of the opinion that video-conferences should be held in such places. And also people should be able to surf the net, watch T.V., read papers and hold thought provoking meetings in the bathroom. Bill Gates has a toilet seat which gives him a massage, has a ‘notebook’ attached(with ‘Windows’ ofcourse)! But for me a bathroom tinkers memories. Most of the world changed while I was wondering inside the bathroom………but most ideas came while I was peacefully dreaming…………Further 'He who wishes to wash his sins, glorify his self and live tranquily should cometh in da bathroom'.........
